SECTION 1
1. The following is a summary of Section 1, but there are a number of mistakes. Spot them out and correct them.
Sam Ovar has booked a single room 35. He is going to stay for three nights. His room is on the fourth floor. It is got a shower and a nice view of the sea. The toilet is a opposite the elevator.
Alex Hippli wants to reserve a single room too. Alex and Irene are married. Gulliver gives them a room on the top floor. They will arrive in a half an hour.
After a while Sam Ovar phones the reception to complain. He can´t sleep because the hotel´s very noisy. Oliver also thinks the hotel is noisy.

7. Role Play. In groups of three:
A and B are friends. They are in a hotel. C is the receptionist.
Read your role card and act the scene.
A You want a double room. You are going to stay for 2 or 3 days. Your prefer a bath in your room, but a shower is OK. You need a telephone. You want to have breakfast and dinner at the hotel.
B You want a double room or two single rooms if they are near. You don´t want the room to be very high, you prefer the first or second floor. You want a room with a TV. You don´t want to spend too much money.
C You have the following vacancies:
– Room 205: single/shower/TV/L40
– Room 206: single/shower/L40
– Room 910: double/shower/L70
– Room 107: single/bath/TV/L45
– Room 502: double/bath/ L85
All rooms have a telephone. There is a dining room. It is on the ground floor. Breakfast is from 7.00 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. Dinner is from 5.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
You only have vacancies for two days. You have to write down the names and addresses of all the customers.
